The IAGA Global Paleomagnetic Database contains published palaeomagnetic poles and directions.  The database, funded internationally, was created by Mike McElhinny and Jo Lock and is now being maintained by Sergei Pisarevsky at the Tectonics Special Research Centre, Univ. of Western Australia. The online implementation of the database was produced by Mark Smethurst and DRAGON project co-workers at the Geological Survey of Norway.

This web site provides online access to the contents of the database.  Several methods of querying the database are provided.  Those who wish to download the complete database in Microsoft Access format are referred to the World Data Center-A.
